MineWare and Ramjack Team Up for Electra Mining Africa 2018

Mining tech leaders Ramjack and MineWare have announced they will be co-exhibiting at Electra Mining Africa 2018 from 10-14 September, showcasing global technology solutions for more efficient, effective mining.

Promoting the value of integration and collaboration in mining, the booth (Hall 5, Stand D11) will bring together some of the most technologically-advanced underground and surface mining solutions available today — from leading technology manufacturers such as SmartCap, Worldsensing, Mine Design Technologies, Conspec, Newtrax, MineWare and uGPS Rapid Mapper™.

Ramjack Director, Mike Jackson, said his team looks forward to exhibiting such a powerful collection of technologies that address the everyday challenges the mining industry faces in making operations more efficient and effective.

“We draw on our knowledge of the industry and our partnerships with global technology leaders to implement integrated systems that are innovative, reliable, customisable and scalable,” he said. “For the first time at Electra Mining, we’re looking forward to showcasing what that integration looks like for our clients in real terms and what it’s capable of delivering. That’s why we’ve chosen to co-exhibit with partners such as MineWare – to show how we are working together on and off the mine site.”

MineWare Global Sales Director, Roy Pater, believes that the increased integration of mining systems and adoption of new digital technologies will continue to deliver productivity improvements for mining operations while lowering costs.

“As a team, we’re always looking for new ways we can address mining challenges through technology and improve the flow of information between people, systems and equipment to operate more efficiently and effectively than before,” he said. “Gaining a better understanding of the difference between being effective vs. efficient in mining is one of our key themes this year. It’s about working smarter, not harder—doing the right work at the right time in the right way—to resolve common production, safety and monitoring challenges easily and affordably.”
